The late October to Early November wildfires in Southern California in 2003 resulted in a pall of smoke on the
western horizon.
The result was a night or two with really spectacular sunsets. This image was taken off the access road to Dripping
Springs.
In silhouette are three old dagger-spined Mountain torrey Yuccas, and two Ocotillos - Symbols of the Great Chihuahuan
